A Charlie Brown Christmas Extended
at Orlando Family Stage

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Orlando Family Stage has added new performances of A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live On Stage after several shows quickly sold out. Additional dates run December 26–28, with a few extra weekday daytime performances added earlier in the month.

The extension comes during a milestone season for the Peanuts legacy. The comic strip turns 75 years old this year, and the animated holiday special, which was first released in 1965, is celebrating its 60th anniversary. The stage adaptation sticks closely to the classic TV special, complete with the Vince Guaraldi soundtrack, the tiny tree, and Charlie Brown’s earnest attempt to find the meaning of Christmas.

Orlando Family Stage, located in Loch Haven Park, is Central Florida’s only full-time professional theater dedicated exclusively to young audiences. The company produces high-quality Theatre for Young Audiences, partners with schools across the region, and runs one of the largest youth arts education programs in the state.

With this show, they’re bringing generations together. Parents (or rather Grandparents) who grew up with the original special are bringing their own kids to experience it live, which is exactly why the run keeps expanding.

Tickets for the added dates are available now at orlandofamilystage.com.
